SHAKEDOWN PINUPS
Whether classic, western, tiki, or Rosie the Riveter, this pageant is all inclusive and welcomes anyone who wants to show off their unique vintage vibes.
WE ARE LOOKING FOR 12 CONTESTANTS
(including under 18 years!)
There will be four crowns to adorn their coiffure:
QUEEN OF THE CAR SHOW
The pinup who's most poised overall. They will carry the crown responsibility to return the following year to crown their successor.
MISS CONGENIALITY
Most charismatic, captivation, and charming!
FIRST RUNNER UP
Incomparably composed and the extension of the queen. Will be expected to fill in to pass crown if queen cannot.
YOUTH/KIDS (up to age 17)
Emerging Marilyns, Little Lucys
ADDITIONAL TITLE - MOST CHARITABLE!
Will receive a scepter and may be wearing a crown. Willing to spend majority of their day fundraising determined by the most in total $$ contributions.
Rules and Expectations
Contestants must wear appropriate style in the Pinup theme that is unique to them. Consideration must be taken in choosing a family friendly outfit. No nudity, lingerie, pasties, flashing, bikinis or thongs will be allowed. If event coordinators feel your outfit is inappropriate, they have the right to ask you to change or be disqualified.
We are an inclusive group and invite any person who would like to participate presenting as female.
We will be approving outfits ahead of the event through photo submission.
Present yourself with dignity and grace. No negative speech, attitudes or behavior will be tolerated at any time. On or off the stage. Bad winners and sore losers are subject to removal of crown and being banned from future events.
Check-in for the pageant will run from 10am-11am. You will receive a sash to wear while you wander the show so judges and attendees can identify you. This is the time for fundraising for "Most Charitable!" We will introduce all pinups on stage just after check-in is closed, around 11:10am. You will be observed starting with introductions, through the duration of the event including the presentation of all contestant pinups that will occur at 2pm on stage. During these times judges will be looking at personal composure, how you interact with attendees, donation hustle, and overall look with outfit, hair and makeup.
